Belville Productions

Belville Productions has a deep catalog of prize-winning plays by History Theatre’s founding playwright-in-residence, Lance S. Belville.

Classics like the award-winning Scott and Zelda, The Beautiful Fools (Kudos Award for Best New Script from Twin Cities Drama Critics Circle and restaged in California in 2019) or the nationally-toured immigrant play, You Can’t Get to Heaven Through the USA or Belville’s collaborations with composer Eric Peltoniemi, Down to Earth and Plain Hearts-a double Kudos Award winner.

Cowboy & Widow is the newest production. It joins Qaddafi’s Cook (premiered 2016) and Atlanta Burning, Sherman’s Shadows (premiered 2018) the veterans not only of Fringe festivals (we’ve been in six Fringes all told), but also of stages in London’s West End or Mexico’s Baja California.
